Founded October 2011, in Walnut Creek, California.book-774837_960_720

The mission of the Walnut Creek Writers Guild is to provide honest, thoughtful, considerate, and supportive feedback to its members on our story submissions, with the end goal of improving and publishing our writing.

The Guild meets once a month at the Walnut Creek Library as well as holding periodic readings in bookstores and libraries throughout the greater Bay Area.  We are also active in community events, such as volunteering our time at the Walnut Creek Library, to increase the visibility of the Guild and its mission.

We have now published our second anthology, Chord & Discord and have posted excerpts here on our site. Our first anthology, The View from Here, is available from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Goodreads, and other bookstores, in paperback and e-book formats.

Please feel free to leave any questions or comments on anything pertaining to the Guild in the comments section of this site, or by dropping us a line at wcwritersguild@gmail.com.
